Help Sister Get Education & Father Relief from Debt

My father runs a logistic business, and he had huge dues from a company which went bankrupt due to COVID. He had taken multiple personal loans to do business with the company.

We have now sold almost everything to repay his debt, and if we continue to pay the debt even for years we won't be able to repay it all, and everyone who lent my father money is now harassing us.

My sister is finishing her school soon, but my father hasn't paid the school fees yet, so they won't be letting her sit for exams and even after we pay the fees we won't have anything to support her future education.

Whatever little you choose to donate will go first towards her education and second to clear the debt.

Ask for an update
18th October 2020
Hello dear supporters, hope you all are keeping safe and well. I am Udit, the organizer of this fundraiser and I would like to extend my sincerest thanks to each of you for all the love and support you have extended towards us. Here's a small update on your current situation for your kind perusal and understanding.

My entire family, we are thankful to you

As we have already mentioned in our campaign, we hail from Pune and we live in an area called Moshi. My sister did her 11th Std. from MIT Junior College in Alandi, it’s located near Moshi. She is now pursuing her 12th Std. from Chanakya Foundation’s coaching institute which is a school + coaching institution that prepares students for medical and engineering entrance examinations. This is to parallelly prepare her for her NEET exams. She wants to become a doctor one day and serve the society. In my family, we are three siblings, one brother, one sister, and we live with our mother and father. My brother and I work for private companies and my father runs a business. My father has lately been under a lot of debt about which he didn’t share any information with us earlier. He tried to commit suicide by overdosing on paracetamols; fortunately we got to know about it on time and were able to save him and now are trying to get the debt cleared so that he doesn’t repeat the same again. My brother and I are using most of our salaries to clear the debt but even if we do the same for years we won’t be able to clear it on our own because all these loans he took are from individuals with very high-interest rates and thus the debt is only growing and putting a lot of pressure on us.

Me and my siblings, from our earlier happier days

The funds are being withdrawn to my account (Udit Ravinderkumar Chugh), and will be directed towards paying the fees of my sister's academic course and clearing my father’s debt. So far, I have done three withdrawals of the funds raised by our campaign,  ₹7,814.08 + $96.8 + ₹2,058.33 and all of this will be used for paying the fees and clearing the debt. I have placed a withdrawal request of ₹5,341.89, which I shall include in my sister's education expenses as well. I am attaching the email screenshot which we recently received, that is requesting the fees to be paid for my sister's 12th grade.

We are not yet close to what we need to get out of this situation but we have seen some very kind people contribute and this has made us very hopeful. We were also contacted by people willing to contribute more to our cause, all thanks to Milaap.

We just want to thank everyone at Milaap for giving us the platform to get some help from strangers who now are no less than friends and family to us. I will forever be grateful to the people for their kindness and generosity. One day when things are better for us, I would make sure that we help people like us who are seeking financial help via Milaap.

Warmest regards,
Udit Kumar Chugh
