This Maha Shivaratri was a very sad day for our Shiva and us
On the unfortunate night of 20th February, my neighbor Shiva Shankar met with a road accident while he was riding the bike. His bike hit a truck and he faced several injuries. He was found near the HAL Museum and brought to Manipal Hospitals as soon as possible. He underwent an emergency decompression craniectomy. To add to this, he also multiple skull fractures and hip fracture.
He is just 29 years old and had recently started to work on his dream of being an entrepreneur in the city of Bengaluru. He was also working as an electrician. He is currently getting treated in Manipal Hospitals, HAL Old Airport Road.
The estimated cost of treatment is around 20 lakhs. This includes the prolonged ICU stay, surgery, medicines, hospitalization, and so on. The road to recovery is a slow one and we need all the help possible at this stage. As a family, we are trying our best to support him and his needs. We request you to contribute as much as you can and pray for his speedy recovery!
