Message from Sanchita:
This story is about a little kitten (almost a year old) named Twinkle, to raise funds for her care because of a nearly fatal injury. I started feeding stray kittens last year when the lockdown started. One by one, my nine kittens left, except for one. Two weeks ago, I went to feed her (Twinkle) around 11 PM & discovered that she had a life-threatening injury. (Gory details alert) She had an inch-long cut on her stomach & her intestines were coming out.
I took her home & a friend helped me take her to the vet in Noida (Radha Pet Care & Surgery Center, sector 53 Noida) in the middle of the night. She was also pregnant with five kittens. The vet had to terminate the pregnancy (a double major surgery). I brought her home & a vigil began to keep her alive. She is very naughty, & managed to tear open her stitches & had to be RE-OPERATED THREE TIMES.
The third time the vet offered to keep her with him as we were not able to restrain her. This is to raise funds for her surgery and the daily visits to the vet. The vet did a miracle in saving her life three times, without his effort and care, she would not be alive today.
Any small contribution you make will be wonderful, and also if you have any pets and are looking for a wonderful vet, you must check out Radhe Pet Care and Surgery Centre. It is a 24/7 service and the vet helped us in the middle of a lockdown by being available in the middle of the night and it really did save her life.
