My name is Mohinidevi Raut and I am raising funds for my relative, Triveni Gangaram Raut who is suffering from Sickle cell disease and is undergoing treatment at Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital. She found out at the age of 18 that she has Sickle Cell, since then she has been leaving on medicines. Triveni has to face many sorrows and suffering. Like in 2008 both thigh bones completely stopped working. Due to which she had to remain in hospital for 2 months and blood has to be arranged by itself. Although the government has given the treatment of Sickle Cell for free but they have to spend outside medicines which is more costly for her. Triveni has raised in a poor family her mother is the only support for her. Suddenly in 2014 she had pain in her left thigh and after X-ray, it was found that her thigh was completely damaged and Dr. put an operation on that by putting steel rod in the left side of thigh. She had to stay in a hospital for a month. Poor mother kept collectively medicines for her daughter by selling vegetables. As time passes the condition improved then Dr. adviced her to put a steel rod in the right side of the thigh too. Then she admitted in the hospital for month. After a year bed rest Triveni recovered completely and started Sewing at home. One day she was going to sit in the scooty with her friend for a checkup of legs at Mayo hospital that suddenly she felt from the scooty and the place of operation but there was a lot of hurt and pain in the operation place. In the X-ray it was found that the steel rod in it's right leg had moved away from that place, due to which she suffered a lot. After remaining in the hospital for 8 days Dr. advised to bed rest from Feb 2020 to July 2020.


Triveni needs medicines every month. Triveni lay in a bed day and night and can't even get up. Her mother used to lock Triveni inside the home while going to sell vegetables, because only they both live at home. But due to this Covid-19 lockdown, she is not going to work from the last 2-3 months. Her financial condition is very poor.


Triveni wants to be a self dependent. She has a good knowledge of tailoring. She wants to teach Sewing by taken a small room at rent. She does not depend on anyone. She is always depends on medicines and she can't imagine her life without medicines.
