It is a basic right of a human being to get all of them. But honestly, some don't.
The tribal camp in Hosur, which houses around 200 people from the Irular community doesn't have access to any basic necessities.
So Jatayu Charitable Trust, an organisation that is for and of socially responsible young people has decided to give them what they deserve. The right to dream BIG.
Project ETTU - Empowerment of The Tribals and Underprivileged will directly impact the hosur camp by providing the following.
1) AROKYAM (Health) - We are organising a medical camp on Oct 31st, 2021 for diagnosing key health issues that are prevalent there. We will also be providing hygiene kits and sanitary pads at regular intervals.
2) ARIVU (Knowledge) - We we will be starting a volunteer fellowship program that will have volunteers from hosur and Bangalore teach the kids basic English and science on a weekly basis .
Every session will be followed by a nutritious meal for the young ones.
3) AATRAL (Energy) - We will be providing them with solar lights and regular water supply.
4) AAKAM (Creation) - We will be constructing two common toilets for them to use .
ETTU doesn't stop here. We are planning to join hands with the government and take necessary initiatives to help them lead better lives.
We also aim to locate tribal communities across India and mobilise a group of local volunteers to help them get what those communities deserve.
Your contributions will greatly accelerate this movement .
