Jum Bahadur Gurung, a man aged 63 suffering from breathlessness was admitted to Vidyasagar Hospital Kolkata where he wasn't treated properly, leave alone being provided with a proper icu facility with saturation point fluctuating between 36-45. They disagreed to provide him with a transfer referral to any other hospital. Due to immense shortage in terms of financial resources, he was then moved to Bangur Govt.

Hospital which refused to take him in. It was then that few volunteers from CACB provided him with a bed at the Good Samaritan hospital, which would charge 30k per day. The patient has to be kept for atleast a week , summing up to 2.1 lakhs in all.

They are desperately asking for financial assistance and are completely helpless. Below given is the picture of the bill for two days charged in advance. On repeated requests,they provided a discount of 10k on a total of 60k rupees. He will be charged 60k every two days.
