Seeking your help to empower the children from disadvantaged backgrounds!

Through PREM, we are working on a vision to build the confidence and independence in the children of 11-16 years of age and trying to empower them to make their own decisions in life, because we strongly believe that one confident child has the potential to pull-up the whole family from the clutches of poverty.

The confidence-building is done through supporting them in speaking the English language as we believe that ability to speak fluently in ‘English’ is still a strong signal of being ‘educated’ and ‘knowledgeable’ in India and we know that many students studying either in Government schools or low-income private schools are not able to comprehend and speak in English.

The program is run through Volunteers, however, resources are needed to support the management, coordination, operational, technology and monitoring efforts.  We have been working on this project since Aug2020 and we are currently running a pilot in 8 schools in Delhi and Haryana with more than 150 students and 150 volunteers, including us :)

We have tested and exhausted our resources and are poised to scale this up with a target to reach 500 children and 500 volunteers in the next six months, with your best wishes and support.

Please come forward and join us in creating more empowered young citizens of India.

No contribution is small as the smallest bit of collective intention has the potential to create ripples to make a difference in a big way.

“Just as ripples spread out when a single pebble is dropped into water, the actions of individuals can have far-reaching effects.” ~ Dalai Lama.
