Why a new centre?
We’ve been very lucky to have had landlords who have endorsed and supported our vision over the last ten years. However, as we’ve grown we would like to invest in the future of the organization by training and developing the next generation of caregivers. The logical next step was to be able to have a place that we can call our own too.
We’re happy to announce that we’ve identified a plot of land . We’re chalking out the designs and plans for this new facility and plan to operate this in conjunction with the Animal Sanctuary.
What’s at the new facility?
Medical Facilities & Services
Medical Team

Medical Facilities & Services
Our aim to provide world class medical services and facilities to pet owners and stray and abandoned animals. These would include timely examinations and treatment, surgical interventions, nutritional consultancy, Isolation wards for Infectious diseases and hospitalisation wards for primary rehabilitation of pets.
To ensure that the animals are treated in the correct manner, we will have an in-house team of expert, passionate and ethical veterinary doctors from different faculties. This will help in timely diagnosis, effective treatment and speedy recovery of the animals.
It is of utmost important to create awareness, imbibe love for and be passionate towards the animals. We are planning to impart trainings to animal lovers to create an awareness on key pet welfare issues like vaccination, nutritional requirement, neutering etc. to create more aware and compassionate citizens for the future.
Besides hospitalisation, we will also have a primary rehabilitation shelter for strays and abandoned pets. We will also organise an adoption drive to promote adoption of abandoned animals so that they can get a loving forever homes. Special needs animals will be housed at our upcoming cageless sanctuary in Vitthalwadi near Kolad.
Our Efforts…
We came into 2020 really excited about the Animal Sanctuary coming up in mumbai. We had made great progress in 2019 and were all set to build on the momentum from the last year. All that came to a grinding halt early in the year with the lockdown. We’ve had to reprioritise our efforts to ensure our centre was running while also extending help to the hundreds of animals on the streets that were suddenly stuck without their regular sources of food, access to caretakers and such. We’ve been lucky to have many generous patrons who have supported our efforts to date. Thanks to this ,our efforts in these times still continue. Learn more about our COVID-19 efforts.
 We Care…
We’ve been very lucky to have had landlords who have endorsed and supported our vision over the last ten years. However, we’ve felt for a while that it’s time to own and manage our own place. We’re happy to announce that we’ve identified a plot of land not far from our current  Centre in Mumbai. We’re chalking out the designs and plans for this new facility and plan to operate this in conjunction with the Animal Sanctuary.
Why…
We are building on everything that we’ve learnt and done in the last ten years so we can continue our work for the next ten years. This includes expanding our infrastructure, training and certifying the next generation of animal caregivers, facilitating a learning centre for animal lovers, expanding our team and above all continuing to provide the best care for animals in need.
