We went cycling on a beautiful sunny evening, not expecting to come home and watch the rest of our lives change in this manner. The cyst in her abdomen began twisting leading to an emergency surgery. Removal of the cyst along with her ovary and fallopian tube was necessary as the ovary had turned black. Biopsy results said the cyst was malignant with mucinous carcinoma, stage 1a. 3 months later, after consulting various oncologists and believing that things are only going to get better, we got the shock of our lives. Turns out, not only has the cancer retuned, but it's now metastasis. What's even worse is that it came along with chest and blood infection that's not going away easily. A slow growing cancer that usually spreads only on organs has instead attacked her bones and compressing against her nerves on the spine. It's also spreading aggressively all over. She isn't able to move her limbs and eyes. A series of unfortunate events and limited funds can cost a 29 year old vibrant woman her life. She hasn't given up despite suffering for months. She still sees light at the end of the tunnel that she's been desperately trying to crawl out of. A little push from everyone is what she needs and deserves!
