Annashaheb Khulape (age 37), also known as Amit or Anna (translates to elder brother), passed away in Pune, India last Saturday after battling Cancer of B-cells, a.k.a. DLBL (Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma) from past year and a half. His last rituals were carried out at his home town of Ghardi, Sangola on 20-Jan-2019.

Anna, known to his friends and colleagues as down-to-earth, simple living and always with his signature smile was fighting with tumor in his stomach and was admitted to hospital for many consecutive months last year. He is survived by 2 small kids (Mrudung – 9-year-old boy and Mista- 2.5-year-old girl) and Wife (Yogita Khulape). His father is retired and stays in his home town of Gheri. Treatments and hospital stays from past year have already incurred a debt on family for around 30,00000 INR (40K USD), on top Anna had existing mortgage for his apartment in Pune. He was the sole earner in his family and now with him gone family needs all the support out there.
