When the city was quiet, people were mourning death of the loved ones, they were giving up on their art and passion. Some of us got together, and spoke intensively about Theatre and its practice, looking at problem of the city, of the system, its failure !

To our conclusion, we decided on Dario Fo's La storia della tigre, a play on collective roar of people, of the tiger that is oppressed within us, which fears the system. Our teacher and Director Shri Surya Mohan Kulshreshtha, Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee, is directing the play as well as training us towards theatre.

The process started from June and has started to take physical shape only now. It took almost 7 months for the actors to find a space for rehearsal, which was at a minimal cost. Since, it has been a self-supported practice, but now we have exhausted our resources and need your help. For space, light, music, costumes and travel, we need to raise a minimum of Rs 1,20,000 to get our play to people.
We shall utilise the funds in booking of our performance spaces, which shall be multiple in number as well as in different cities, for getting stage properties, for costumes making and purchase of material, for paying director fee, recording music, purchasing musical instrument, for paying rent of our rehearsal space as well, among others.

We are a group of 5, completely dependent on theatre and completely surrendered to Theatre practice.
