Manipur is a small state in the north east of India, which is characterized by rugged hills and beautiful valleys. The people are welcoming and kind hearted. Covid19 has hit this place hard as many in Manipur are daily wageworkers, small hawkers and vendors. The crisis has impacted their livelihood and it is becoming increasing difficult for families to put two meals on the table. They are out of work with little or no money and can barely afford to provide for their basic needs.
Renedy Singh who feels deeply for the people of Manipur has come forward to support the community in Manipur. He has served as the Captain in the Indian Football team (Years 1998-2011) and has been one of the best mid-fielders that India has produced. He was my coach  and I vouch for his dedication and commitment to the  community. For the last few months, he himself has been doing all he can with his limited resources and has helped several families. However, its not enough since the pandemic has lingered longer and deeper than we previously thought.
We as fellow Indians have to show solidarity with them in this time of need and help them tide through this crisis. We need to help these people with money to survive through this crisis.
This is a cry for help for a good cause. 100% of the money raised will go towards community support effort that Renedy Singh is organizing in Imphal.
