The Girl Foundation is the most committed Social Enterprise which is into conducting awareness talks on Child Sexual Abuse, POCSO Act,Date Rape, Substance Abuse, Menstrual Hygiene, Adolescent Issues, Substance Abuse, Gender Sensitization in all the Rural, Semi Urban Government Schools.

Our Pilot PROJECT DISHA - THE DIRECTION has been successfully completed one year program in ZPHS Lingampally bringing awareness in the above mentioned topics by subject Experts.

Now, our second PROJECT PAATHSHAALA - THE PATH, 100 Schools Campaign is committed to address all the Government Schools across AP & Telangana. So far we have finished 28 schools and we are sure to complete the remaining schools successfully.

Every child deserves to live safe, happy and healthy. With the increasing rate of child abuse, molestation and rape cases, we started this campaign to bring awareness among children, adolescents and the parents. On the other side, their health, well being is also addressed. Awareness on Menstrual Hygiene for the girls, distributing organic/ reusable sanitary pads and educating boys on substance abuse, supplying medical kits in the schools and imparting knowledge on life skills is our prime objective.

The funds we collect will be used for:
1. travelling to rural and semi urban areas
2. distributing reusable sanitary pads
3. medical kits to the schools
4. installing POCSO e-box at schools
5. web development
6. The Girl App

So far, the journey has been quite inspiring and accomplishing. Now, we are looking for more people to join us to educate the adolescents and make our society a better and a safer place to live in.
