"We at, Avesta Foundation, strive to adopt the deserted senior citizens who are very old & fragile and are abandoned by their loved ones in their twilight years or neglected by the society at large. We provide them shelter, food, medicare, and personal care & attention. Most of them suffer from severe depression and skin diseases because of spending months on the pavements.

We also feed and provide medical assistance to many "lonely" senior citizens who cannot take care of themselves. Most of them live in their own houses. Some of them are soteriophobic and refuse to accept that they need any outside help. Many of them don’t like to be identified. Besides them, we also serve food to the roadside people.
