About Project Shiksha- We are a Non-profit working on bridging education gaps in low income groups by helping them learn technology & increase employment opportunities.
All our programs are oriented towards building a future & preparing them for the tech-driven future.
We are currently working on rolling out a mobile bus library project aiming at including Reading as a vital part of holistic learning.
About the communities with which we work- The pandemic has made them struggle with Reading due to dearth of resources & incomplete school education. There are no community libraries for these villages. Our team identified the need for a space like that and are working on building a mobile bus library which will cater to up to 40 villages with defined time slots & access to free reading. To make this effective, we will be mobilizing educators on the bus library initiative, conducting fun & interactive storytelling sessions for them. This will not just widen their horizon of imagination but also give them an opportunity to learn from seasoned teachers
Shiksha on Wheels- A mobile bus library helping children in rural communities get access to free books & empower their Reading skills. This bus library will cater to 40+ villages in Rural Bangalore. You will be nurturing the lives of 4000+ children.
