Dear Friends and Family,
It’s hard to be vulnerable and I’ll try to summarize this life altering journey as best I can.
Ramesh Garrepalli is a self made man who managed his entire family with his hard work. He is a complete non-alcoholic and a strict vegetarian. He is survived by his family and comes from a working middle class. He supported himself and his family from a very young age. He created his beautiful world with his sheer hard work, is an incredibly devoted husband and an amazing father to his son and daughter and takes care of his widowed mother. He runs a small book store and is the sole bread winner of the family of 6.
But for over the last two years Ramesh has been fighting with multiple complexities because of disfunctional liver - diabetes, stones in kidneys and later, unfortunately he was diagnosed with liver cirrohsis - a liver ailment usually seen in heavy alcoholics but he is a non-alcoholic and still observed here. In the last two years, he had countless trips to the hospitals and got innumerable labs and was out of ICU several times. Now, it turned into massive ascites with no cure except for liver transplantation. This tragic attack of liver cirrhosis/ascites has put his family into a state of shock and shattered their lives as it affected him at a very young age. He is just 46 Years. He spent all his life savings on it for the last couple of years.
He doesn't know how to ask for help or never did, but with his current situation and for the future of his family the pride has to be set aside. The liver transplantation is not covered by insurance and he does not have assets left to sell. With the outstanding health bills that the family has owed for his treatment and medical care for the last two years, has just made their situation horrendous.
He is currently fighting for his life and we're asking you to help save Ramesh and to give him and his family a chance at having a future. Any contribution is appreciated. Each dollar takes Ramesh one step closer to the living life the way you and I do. Your generosity and support will go to funding the medical treatment and transplantation in fighting this battle as his health is detiorating quickly.
