    Teachers Day Speaking Competition

Teacher’s Day is a special day for both teachers and students, without a teacher, nobody is moulded and shaped properly in their person and career life.

Under Privileged students voluntarily came forward to Lamp Educational And Charitable Trust and spoke to our Trust president to conduct a program for Teachers on the occasion of the Teacher’s Day, 5th September 2021, children want to give respect to their teachers by conducting a program like Speaking Competition, Essay Competition, Dance and Drama program, but their seeking support from the people to fulfil their teacher’s day celebration project.

Our challenge and how you can help?

Being a non-profit providing free education to underprivileged children, we have managed to squeeze our resources to support the program, but we are not able to arrange the complete amount of rupees 40,000/-, so please generously donate to successfully complete the event.

Our Wishlist:

1.      Gifts to 15 teachers (Certificate, Chocolates, & Parker Pen set with hand paintings) = 22,000/-
2.      Gifts for the program 40 participants (Certificate, Medals, and Small Trophies) = 17,000/-
3.      Stage, Backdrops, Mic, Speakers, snacks and chairs for the program (100 attendees including, parents, teachers, and students) = 11,000/-
Programs are conducted by following COVID19 guidelines with 6 feet distance seating arrangements, along with distributing face masks, and sanitisers.

We shall publish invoices and photos of all items purchased immediately on purchase and share the program photos on the Milaap site.

Lamp Educational and Charitable Trust is a non-profit organization established in 2010 by Jaganathan Rajagopal in Bangalore with a mission to support and educate the lives of the downtrodden children irrespective of their Religion, Caste & Community and to work towards the uplift of those children. The Lamp Educational and Charitable Trust serve towards the establishment of the rights of the children. Provide them with Proper Education.

To work on the scale to improve the basic learning and proficiency skills of children; increase awareness about the importance of children’s learning outcomes among all participants in education, and provide vocational and skills training leading to job opportunities for youth from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

We have started with providing free tutorial services on different subjects to underprivileged students and we are empowering women to start their businesses by conducting tailoring classes. Through our career counselling, we are helping and motivating youths to seek the best job opportunities.
