My name is Vishnu and I am here to raise funds for my aunt Tavva Vani who is 57 years old. My aunt lives in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.
They were a happy family of 4, my aunt, her husband (my uncle, 65Y), her son (my brother, 35Y) and her daughter in law (my sister-in-law, 30Y). My uncle and brother were the sole bread earners of their family. They have a very small business and they were self sufficient with what they earn. My aunt has been asthmatic since 25 years and diabetic since 4 years. She's on medications ever since on daily basis. So most of their earnings go towards medical expenditure. But never they approached anyone for help.
My brother just completed their second marriage anniversary on 2nd of May. 3rd of May is when they started feeling the symptoms of COVID19 and by 7th May all 4 were tested positive for COVID19. They were admitted in Kakinada GGH (Govt. General Hospital) by 9th May. We couldn't save my uncle and my brother. Both of them succumbed to COVID19 and now no more. A happy family of 4 ended up a devastated family of two by 18th May. Now both the ladies of the family who never set their foot outside their house have to live all on their own.
At present my aunt is still undergoing treatment in the same hospital on oxygen bed. Her vitals seems to be okay, with doctors suggesting her to be on oxygen for 10 more days until her SpO2 levels come back normal. With all her comorbidities and mental trauma we don't know how she's going to cope up with the situation. I'm here to ask for financial aid to support her medical expenses (to buy an oxygen concentrator and for her asthma and diabetes treatment). It is in this desperate times we're looking out for people to support their family. Any kind of help you do would mean a lot to this family and would go an long way.
Until now, we've spent about Rs. 50000 (for cremation activities for both my uncle and brother) we've arranged the amount from savings & loans.
Please come forward to support my cause. Any generous contribution will be of immense help and would not be forgotten.
