"There is a breaking point for every person. God has tested me enough. First, my elder daughter was born with hearing and speech impairment. Second, my husband left my kids and me for a second marriage. My daughter underwent a heart surgery four years ago. Now, my son has a rare blood disorder and needs expensive medical treatment to survive. How much more can I take? I’m at my last straw.” -  Tarun's mother

Tarun is diagnosed with severe Aplastic Anemia. His blood platelets count is decreasing rapidly and he is always very tired. He could not undergo a bone marrow transplant as they were unable to get a matched donor in his sibling. The doctors have now suggested Immuno-suppressive therapy.

When you ask Tarun, “What is you aspiration?” he says, “I want to become an engineer. I will then take good care of my mother and sister. I will never be like my dad. I never want to see him again in my life.”

“Tarun is an extremely brilliant boy. He is very good in studies and sports. He loves cricket. His mind is way more matured for his age. Behind his innocent sweet face lies a strong determination to succeed in life. He hates his father for deserting them.” – Ekanath, uncle

When Tarun’s father was informed about his sister’s heart surgery and now about  Tarun’s medical condition, he never bothered to even see them. He said he has nothing to do with it.

“It’s your children, if you want them to live, you take care of them, he said. How can a father say something like that? I feel so defeated yet I stay strong for my children. Tarun is my biggest strength. I just want him to get well soon. I can fight the world if he is with me.” – Tarun’s mother

Tarun’s Uncle, Ekanath, is the sole bread winner of the family and he now needs your help to save his nephew. He says he cannot manage to afford the treatment that would cost around 6-8 lakh rupees.

Your kind contribution can help Tarun live the life that he badly desires for his mother and sister.
