Aishika Ghosh, 8, is suffering from beta-thalassemia major since her birth. This is such a complex illness that now she needs her blood to be replaced twice a month. The iron content in her blood is also increasing day by day and she needs to take the painful injections for 10 hours a day to control it. The only cure is the bone marrow transplant and that also needed to be done as early as possible. Her father has managed to get a donor but the whole treatment cost is about 35,00,000. Her mother is a housewife and her father, Mr Tarun Kumar Ghosh was an insurance agent in a private farm. Due to Aishika's ill health, it was not possible for him to make a regular visit to the office and the company sacked him. Now he does some part-time job to feed his family and arrange treatment for little Aishika. He has already sold his house and all the properties for her treatment.
