In the past month, the number of daily COVID-19 cases have surged from 10,000 to 400,000, severely overloading and crippling the country’s healthcare system. There is now a profound shortage of critical medical supplies such as hospital beds, medical oxygen, ventilators, anti-viral drugs, and many more. All these factors have cumulatively contributed to the high COVID-19 fatality rate in India, where a third of the all-time COVID-related deaths is caused by the second wave of infections that begun only a month ago. Unfortunately, our colleagues in India are not unscathed. Over 50% of our team and their family members have been infected with the virus.
During this difficult time, this is our way to show continued support to our Indian colleagues in every way that we can.
