On the 1st of November(Sunday), Swati Mondal an alumnus of Jadavpur University Power Department has met with an unfortunate accident, where she fell from the third floor under unknown circumstances. She has suffered injuries particularly in the pelvic region and finds herself battling between life and death. Needless to say, her condition requires multiple surgeries which put her family under great financial strain.
She was shifted to Institute of Neurosciences, Kolkata on 2nd November, 2020. On 11th November, 2020, she has been shifted to CMRI, Kolkata. After observing her for the past 10 days records, doctors have concluded that required surgeries can be performed. Approximate expenditure as stated by doctors can be around 10-12 lakh INR.
Swati has been a young, dynamic, and jovial individual and I am sure that we all can agree that we cannot leave any stone unturned to make her recovery easier.
