My Father is suffering from prostate cancer. 2.6 years back cancer was identified in his body. It was the time we all were shocked as before this Father was very fit and he walked much every time.
In the year 2017, my Father went through 2 surgery of cancer. After that he was fine. That time he had cancer of 2nd stage. One year back on Aug,18 his prostate was increased and we got to know that cancer probably entered into the 3rd stage. The doctor changed the medicines and the medical expenses were 30,000 - 35,000 rs per month. We bore all this and in the same year October, his condition was very bad and Dr. said he is now at 4rth stage. Suddenly all test including CT-Scan, Bone scan, X-ray & other blood test was processed by Hospital.
In November his radiotherapy was started and it was done after 20 cycles. After that in December Chemotherapy was started. Till date, 21 Chemotherapy has been done and it is still going on.
I left my job 3 months after knowing about my Father cancer since I was working in Mumbai and I belong to Indore. My Mother was already expired in 2016. We(me & my wife) shifted in Indore. I entered into Business as here there are no much jobs for my field(IT). Although I was not earning much and later I tried for a job but my Father condition is like that anytime we need to go to the hospital. I don't have any brother and wife can't do a job as she is taking care of my Father at home. I can't do a job and in business, I don't have much profit but the job is difficult for me to do in this situation. I can't go outside the city for a job.
Till date, we have spent 5-6 lacs on my Father treatment and now I have spent all my savings. Chemotherapy still going on and many times he has suffered from infections as immunity of body become week. We still need 20,000 per month to continue his treatment.
