DevelopmentInitiative is a registered Trust working to improve the learning outcomes of children studying in govt. schools. Various studies have shown how children in our country have learning deficiencies due to various socio-economic and governance factors.
Development Initiative with support of Village community and local school administration wanted to set up a Remedial support centers in villages to improve learning outcomes of children studying in grade 1-10. This will help schools to reduce drop-out especially girls and support children to cope up with the multilevel class environment. Each child learning shall be measured by administering periodic tests. In the long run, it will help children to access quality education and compliment the efforts of the Govt. education dept.
