HELP POOR FIGHT HEART DISEASE
AN APPEAL FOR DONATIONS
Surpreet Chopra Heart Foundation is a non governmental organization, founded in 2014, having 80G 12A certification, working to help underprivileged patients get free of cost medicines, cardiac surgery, angiography, and angioplasty.
We are located in Bhilai, Chhatisgarh.
We get patients from around our area to far off villages where there is not a single superspecialty hospital. We are able to provide state of the art treatment through a few patrons who waive off their own fees to be able to help us help the poor.
We have been functioning since 2014 and have till date done more than, 200 free angiographies, 50 free cardiac surgeries, and more than 150 free Medical camps, where we do free consultation, and tests like ecg echo, sugar, BP test, neuropathy test, lipid profile, give free medication.
We have a few patrons who work on those patients for free, but because of lack of a proper system to generate funds, we are always struggling to help the needy.
We are currently doing free camps every alternate week, and sometimes because of request from some local bodies who identify needy groups and localities, we are doing free camps every week.
We have a huge list of patients who require treatment but because of lack of funds dont reach the hospital for admission. We somehow call them and admit so that we are somehow able to benefit them, but surgery requires a good amount. Although we help some patients, but not all can be helped because of lack of funds. At one point in time there are at least 20 patients waiting for surgery at least 20 waiting for angiography and angioplasty in a month and a good number of patients await ICU admission for medical treatment. We can help them if we are able to generate at least 2 Cr in a month.
We are in dire need to generate funds to be able to help the poor.
