On Aug 20, 2020 my father was diagnosed with corona due to which his lungs were adversely affected. The treatment was done in Kamineni , he returned home. But after few months on Dec 12 while on his way to work he suddenly fainted and was taken to Global hospitals where he was diagnosed with Gullian Barre Syndrome of Respiratory  Distress, Type-1 Respiratory Failure UTI. His initial treatment in the Global Hospitals was started which included treatment on IV immunoglobulin (IVIG) along with other supportive medication including antibiotic and anticoagulant. For respiratory distress pulmonology consultation was taken and he was put to non invasive ventilation and was put to ventilator on Dec 30 2020. In view of prolonged ventilatory support TRACHEOSTOMY was done on 06/01/2021 as his condition was gradually improved he was weaned off from ventilatory and reconnected to NIV . As doctor’s said he needed regular physiotherapy and respiratory muscle strengthening exercises so he is now shifted to Apollo hospitals and he has been put on intermittent oxygen and Bipap support . The medical expenses are now beyond our limit. Now we are completely drained on our finances and cannot bear any more medical expenses. My family had completely lost hope that he will be able to recover but when doctor saw the improvement in his health and suggested that, respiratory, physiotherapy and ERGO would be very much helpful for improving his condition .
