My friend and colleague, Samuel Thekkinparambil, and his family have come under a heavy financial burden while his father continues to fight COVID-19 in the hospital in Visakhapatnam. His father, Suresh Thekkinparambil, has been in the hospital since May 12 and in intensive care most of the time. Medical costs have soared during the pandemic, and the family has exhausted their resources in the first week and a half of the treatment. With medical bills continuing to mount, this is the best option for the family to be able to pay for the care Suresh requires to recover and come home. We expect his father will require at least another one to two weeks in the hospital before he may be able to go home.
For those of us who know Samuel and his family, this is a tangible way we can help.
