Life was looking up for young and enthusiastic Surendra when an unfortunate accident in 2015 almost killed him. He was on his bike when an out-of-control vehicle rammed into him, throwing him off his bike and very nearly killing Surendra. He was rushed to the hospital, and it was discovered that his spinal cord was fractured. Even after the operation, there was no improvement in his condition.

Today Surendra is battling for life with his fractured spinal cord. He is unable to stand on his feet. His body is fragile. His arms and legs have turned so thin like sticks. He is also dealing with a severe urine infection, worsening his condition. He can't even eat with his hands. He has developed severe neurological disorders, muscle strengthening problems, joints problems, etc. He has also developed bed sores. Surendra's elder brother works day and night as a labourer to share his father's burden. His mother, Kisana Devi, stays at home to look after her child and prays for some miracle to heal her son. Each passing day costs life to Surendra.
"My brother is in pain. He can't eat or do anything on his own. His condition has pushed us all into a deep dark well of depression. We have no money for his treatment as we have already sold our only piece of land for his operation. My father is worried about my wedding. But all I want in life is for my brother to stand on his feet." Sister
