It started out as a regular morning. At 5:30 a.m on 30th July 2019, Sunilkumar Jantli left his home to carry out his job as Head of Surveillance at a reputed company in Bengaluru. He had barely traveled 2kms when he met with a fatal accident, a hit-and-run. Sunil was strong enough to alert his family and stayed conscious by the roadside for around 30 minutes, but no passing vehicle or person helped him out or called an ambulance. It was too late by the time his brother had taken him to the hospital. Within an hour of leaving home that morning, he left us all, forever.

Sunilkumar Jantli was an honest, straight-forward, and helpful person, and also an accomplished cricketer and sportsman, well known in Karnataka cricket circles. He is survived by his wife and two kids (aged 9 and 7), while also being responsible for the education of his niece and nephew, being the primary breadwinner of his family.
