Little Toffee is an adorable 3 month old indie puppy born to a scrawny mother dog in Asgarpur, Noida; who needs your help to fly to her forever home!

 When we first found Toffee, she had been hit by a car and had a horrible leg injury. We rushed her to the vet to find out that she had a fracture. A plaster was put on her leg and we were hopeful that Toffee would recover soon.

However, soon after Toffee’s litter contracted the dangerous Parvovirus and became very ill. Two of her siblings passed away due to the illness before diagnosis could even be done. Toffee and her remaining siblings were taken indoors for treatment as it was the only fighting chance they had. Toffee’s siblings recovered fast and were back on their paws within 5 days and were left back on to the street with their doggy mother. However Toffee seemed to be getting worse by the day. Her temperature was persistently low and we were afraid she would not make it to see the next day. So Toffee’s treatment continued and with each passing day our hope grew that our girl would make it through this ordeal.

Toffee - being the resilient little puppy she is, underwent a complete transfurmation. She is now in perfect health. She has completely recovered from Parvo and also gained full usage of her earlier fractured leg. Her deworming is up to date and her vaccinations have been started as well. Toffee loves belly rubs and cuddles. She is an extremely vocal puppy who has a lot to say.
 

Toffee has the wonderful opportunity to fly to New York City and join her forever humans there. She will be living at a foster home in NYC till Delhi the Street Dog Foundation finds her a home! From barely being able to sit up, to playing with her toys; from crying herself to sleep to making sure she is showered with cuddles and treats; Toffee has come a long way. And she has a long way to go to New York City. This is Toffee’s chance at securing a safe future where she is forever loved and cherished. However, we need your help getting her there!

 

The total amount that needs to be raised for Toffee’s travels is Rs. 35,000. This includes the cost of microchipping, medical certificates that deem her fit for travel and travel costs.
