I have been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer of urinary bladder with metastasis of liver and bone in the 3rd week of March'2019. I had my cystoscopy with TURBT followed by 3 cycles (6 nos) of chemotherapy at Chennai, where I was staying. Moved to Kolkata in middle of May'2019 (as my mother and sister are here), and having treatment at Tata Medical Center, Kolkata. In Kolkata I had 2.5 cycles (5 nos) of chemotherapy till 15/07/2019 with one more scheduled for 22/07/2019. After this Doctor has advised to go for Immunotherapy, 1 session every 3 weeks. It will take at least 10 to 15 sessions of the same. Cost of each session is around Rs.3,85,000/- (Rs.3,50,000/- for the injection, followed by admission cost and Contrast CT charges, or, any other test charges).
With my current balance health insurance I can cover for 3 sessions of the same. I am jobless since end of October'2018, and, in severe need of funds to continue my treatment. The donation amount of Rs.50,00,000/- I have indicated can help me with a total of 15 sessions after considering the medical insurance amount.
