    This fundraiser will benefit

    Sukhchain Singh

    from Chandigarh, Chandigarh

On the morning of 9th April 2019, Sukhchain Singh (Sukhi) was on a relaxing bicycle trek when he met with a fatal accident. Doctors were forced to amputate his leg to save his life. The accident has turned Sukhi’s life upside down. As we are writing this, Sukhi is in intensive care struggling to get his life back on track.

Sukhi is an all-rounder – he not only aces academics but is also an enthusiastic sportsperson. A management graduate from the Indian School of Business (ISB) and a gold medalist from Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Sukhi has been an exemplary student and an avid learner. In his spare time, Sukhi was always seen engaging in sports and outdoor activities. In fact, Sukhi has conquered everything he has put his eyes on. He has successfully seeded several entrepreneurial ventures and was supposed to join UBER in May 2019 post his ISB life. His passion for life and never-say-die attitude is admirable. Sukhi has inspired everyone’s life he has touched and is loved by all!
Sukhi's father retired from Indian Army after serving for 20 years across different stations of India including Rajasthan, Siachin, Assam and Arunanchal Pradesh. He presently stays at Nabha district in Punjab along with Sukhi's mother. Sukhi's mother has played a pivotal role in his life. She has been the biggest support system for the whole family. In these testing times they are the source of ultimate motivation for Sukhi on his path to recovery.
The physical and psychological trauma of the incident is immense and the path to recovery is not only treacherous but also emotionally challenging. Where certain battles Sukhi must fight on his own, this amazing human needs our help with prosthetic leg to get him back running. Doctors have recommended C-Leg (Brand - Ottobock) as a suitable choice for prosthetic leg. However, the cost of operation and the replacement equipment is a mammoth.

We cannot go back in time to reverse the damage, but we can surely do our bit to ensure that Sukhi is well prepped to face the greater challenges of life. Your contribution will definitely help Sukhi get back on his feet and running in no time. We are hoping you won’t think twice before doing your bit to help Sukhi get his leg back.
