My sister Sujitha was under treatment for a fungal infection in her brain for the past two years. In the last three weeks, she had to go through three surgeries when the fluid from her brain stopped passing through her spinal code and started accumulating in the brain. We used all the savings we had, and borrowed money from friends and relatives and spent more than 15 lakh already. Now, things have gone beyond what we can handle.

We are hoping and praying that the third surgery that she underwent recently will bring her back to a normal life. We still have to pay more than two lakhs to the hospital for the treatments that we already received, and it costs more than Rs.8000 per day to continue her treatment. Doctors are not ruling out the possibility of one or more surgeries in the future as well.
