Sujith in 2016 diagnosed with Staghorn Kidney stones in both the kidneys. As advised a keyhole surgery was done to remove the stones. After the surgery kidney's did not function normal as supposed to be.
To treat the functionality of the Kidneys; medications were prescribed by the Nephrologist which continued until 2019 when Creatinine reached the high limit after which doctor advised to start the dialysis initially twice a week.
As Sujith being very young (32 years at that time) doctor advised not to rely on the dialysis and start finding a donor for Kidney Transplantation. Sujith's Mother's (Mrs. Ajitha, Age 60 years) Love and Affection couldn't held her back and she immediately came forward to donate.
In early last year (2020) when the transplant was supposed to happen; Covid-19 struck India as well Sujith's family and later 1st wave and 2nd wave of covid further delayed the process until mid of 2021.
Now all the tests and investigations are completed for both Sujith and his mother and it is concluded by the team of doctors that both are medically fit to undergo Kidney Transplantation which they have scheduled for date 23.10.2021 in "The Madras Mission Hospital, Chennai.
This fundraiser is for Sujith Kumar and the funds as raised shall be utilized for his Operation, medical bills and recovery.
