    Sujay Ghosh

    from Santoshpur, West Bengal

My name is Sreejit Ghosh and I'm here to raise funds for the treatment of my father Mr. Sujay Ghosh, who is 61 years old currently. I am the only child of my Maa and Baba. We reside in Santoshpur, Kolkata.

He has been diagnosed with massive hemorrhage (in September 2020) in the right lobe of his brain. He had then undergone an operation on the 16th of September at the Institute of Neurosciences, Kolkata. Though the operation was successful, he has been alive with a total paralysis in the left side of his body. We have already spent approximately 7.2 lakh rupees for his treatment in hospital of which approximately 4.2 lakh rupees is paid by the Insurance and the rest of the amount from our savings, respectively. He was gradually recovering with a huge expenditure on medications, controlled diet, continuous physiotherapy and intensive care.

However, very recently on the 21st of November, he got admitted to R N Tagore international institute of cardiac sciences with cardiac failure. In addition to this, he has further been diagnosed with a brain stroke at the left lobe of his brain. Due to this, now he is completely paralyzed and is in ventilation support. For the time being, we are in an urgent requirement of more 10 lakh rupees. It is very difficult for a middle class family like ours mange it now. Thus, we have started this fundraiser.

The little savings that we have is almost exhausted and we are now left in a very vulnerable situation. We're extremely devastated by the recent happenings and are finding it very hard to handle everything. I am the sole bread earner of my family now and have been struggling very hard to manage the cost of the treatment as well as other basic necessities to manage the same.

Thus, we would be really grateful if anyone would voluntarily extend their helping hands in this extremely difficult time. Any amount of donation is welcome. Kindly contribute as much as you can. Thanks in advance.
