I am Sujay, 38 yrs old and from Chennai, I am a Software Consultant, Chennai.

Basically, I was a one among the persons who struggled for food and other basic needs in the Chennai Flood 2015, so I feel that the current Pandemic is a similar situation. The main group we focus here is
1. The daily wage laborers
2. The people who struggle for food on a regular basis
3. People who are trapped due to lack of transportation to their native
4. Children who are not getting proper hygienic food

As far as we have short listed, there are more than 5000 people only from Chennai, who are not getting proper food. Initially we are covering in and around Tambaram and there are few of my group members who do the same across Chennai, Madurai, Salem and Coimbatore. Our motto is to cover all over Tamilnadu. As a start-up for the same, we wanted to cover the entire Chennai region. As for the funds, serving 5000 people for a day takes approx Rs. 80,000 to Rs.1,00,000 (Preparation cost) where we either prepare Lemon rice, Tomato Rice or Curd rice. The delivery will be taken care by various philanthropically interested volunteers. We also do not have much idea about the duration of this Curfew period. So we are also taking initiatives to continue this activity till the quarantine settles down. We do not expect much, but  an adequate contribution will be much helpful.
