My name is Sibanjan Purkayastha and my father has been recently diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme (Brain Cancer). My father is retired Service personnel (Sashastra Seema Bal ) and a resident of Silchar, Assam. He has served the nation for 45 years but now fighting against a deadly disease. He had been doing well but nearly two years ago we suddenly noticed some abnormal behaviors after he suffered a minor road accident. 

Last month we noticed abrupt mood swings and consulted a psychiatrist. The psychiatrist recommended some tests and a tumor was discovered in his brain. He was then rushed to a hospital in Chennai where they informed us that he had Glioblastoma Multiform. There he also underwent brain surgery. Post surgery he has to undergo both Radiation and Chemotherapy.

 
Currently we require approximately 5 Lacs since we already exhausted the insurance amount. We are short on funds for his medical treatment and would request your help for his ailment.
