My name is Jeeteshwar Shrivastava. I am raising funds for my father, Subodh Kumar Shrivastava who is undergoing treatment with Critical illness and fighting for his life at INLAKS BUDHRANI HOSPITAL MORBAI NARAINDAS BUDHRANI CANCER INSTITUTE (Pune).
My father got admitted into the ward on 14th January. On 16th January he got admitted to ICU and started taking dialysis. After the first dialysis, he developed type-II respiratory failure due to pleural effusion with left lung collapse.

My father got admitted into the ward on 14th January. On 16th January he got admitted to ICU and started taking dialysis. After the first dialysis, he developed type-II respiratory failure due to pleural effusion with left lung collapse.
Doctors treated him with pleural tapping and removed the fluid then suddenly he started having fever spikes on and off with worsening dyspnea, drowsiness, and CO2 retention, he got intubated and taken to a mechanical ventilator. He became unconscious and started fighting with sepsis shocks. The doctors told us he won't be able to come out of this situation.
We asked God for mercy and prayed for him breathlessly.. After getting a high dosage of medication (very costly) and life supports he started to feel better. Slowly his life supports were removed by the doctors.
15 days ago his condition became worse & The doctors showed the urgent need for surgery as this was the optimal stage for my dad for surgery and they rushed to go for surgery as soon as possible, it was so tough for us to arrange resources (as we are already in financial debt of this Hospital) but somehow with God's help, we made it by requesting for delayed payment to the financial department. Dad went for the surgery, it was a major and very high-risk surgery that took almost 5-6 hrs of the total. After the surgery, Dad is right now shifted to the ICU for post-surgery recovery & he is recovering very well.
It is the darkest phase of our life we have done all we can to collect the total amount required for the treatment but Rs.1500000 more is required to pay for all the medical expenses

Right now we don’t even have funds for his dialysis, It's been more than two months that inside the ICU's door he is in fighting with illnesses. We are much worried now because we have exhausted all our resources and if things proceed the way they are, things would become worsening, which is breaking my heart. So I have no other choice than to ask our friends and well-wishers to help us. We are not going to put our sword down until our last breath, Surely the battle is long so I request all of you to please contribute towards the treatment and help during this time of need. Each contribution is important simply like few drops of water could give life to a seed.
