Teach For India is a non-profit organization operating in 7 Indian cities with a vision to eradicate "educational inequity".
The importance of a smart phone/tablet in conducting a class for a regular student is a widely accepted fact after the Covid-19 crisis. Although, a lesser known fact is that 54% of Indian families donot have any access to smart phones & 92% of Indian families don't have access to a computer with net.
With an agenda to bridge the digital divide in the educational landscape, this fundraiser aims to provide tablets & smart devices to students from low-income schools in Pune.
100% of the contributions made will be used to procure devices for the students enabling them access to online classes.
