Fetching friends - An initiative to be a voice for stray animals. Working on feeding, rescues, medication, adoption and fostering. It all started one year ago since this pandemic has arrived, there are lots of stray animals in our neighbourhood, they used to survive on shops in our areas and us but because of that nationwide lockdown strays had to strive for food. We live in south extension, and being an animal lover we started cooking food for the strays in our neighbourhood, we spent our pocket money and savings in the beginning but it wasn’t enough, some of them still had to live without food, that was really disheartening to see for us. So we started this initiative to reach more help for our strays, raised funds and extended our feeding drives in near by areas. People started joining us and we grew from 20 Dogs to 150+ in a month that was real happiness and peace for us. There were some areas near us which had been demolished under government’s redevelopment scheme, Some of our friends briefed us about strays in those areas, like TYAGRAJ NAGAR, SAROJINI NAGAR, NETAJI NAGAR and NOROUJI NAGAR.
And now ultimately we’re facing financial crisis, due to less funds we’re unable to take care of much strays! Unfortunately we can’t make this happen on our own, we really needs funds to continue our work at large scale. Fetching friends family urge you to come forward and help us setting up a good livelihood for our strays. Please help us as much as you can.you can we our work here
