Construction and Setup of Shelter Home with Primary Hospital for Stray Dogs
Our Duggu’s Shelter Home was established on July 2018. We are running our Shelter home in New Delhi, Near Najafgarh area. We have 14 Dogs as permanent resident of our shelter at present. Before that in 2016 we had started our road side arrangement for the stray babies in many localities of Dwarka, Laxmi Nagar and Mandi House.
The pain of these poor speechless babies are pathetic. We don’t know what is going to happen to them in the next minute. They stay on roads and we so called human are so careless that we even don’t think of any life over there on road.
There are lots of sufferings in and around the world. We are not able to change the condition of these furry babies in the whole world. But yes, if we can care a single baby, then the whole world and life of that baby can be changed.
We are trying to do our best efforts to take care of the furry babies. The sufferings of the babies around the whole world is very disturbing and getting worst day by day. Once you pass by you can see one with broken leg/skin infection/ very poor structure/ big wound etc. Human being is the best creation of God. But we should be ashamed with the act of our race. Everyday there in social media and local news about the act of human as animal cruelty. Everywhere there is severe cruelty with animals. But if we have a minute to think about the fact, then we will find no fault is from the poor animals. In every case it is found that animals are always abused by human, with a stupid reason that they barked or they came near.
As God has created animals also, then we must give respect to them. As it’s a creation of God. The animals are also a living creature. They also feel pain and hunger. In India every year more than thousands of stray dogs dies due to hunger. It is very painful to stay hungry and not able to speak. If they came up to us with an urge for food, then where is the fault? Is it a crime? We instead of giving a slice of Bread, we start hitting them without any reason. If we can’t feed them, then also its fine just pass by. But we will not, we will hit them why? Who we are to hurt them? They are the beautiful part of the earth.
Now a days after the horrible effect of Pandemic COVID 19, we should think the cause and should change our opinion towards the world. We the human always think that the world is the only place for mankind. We have made the world into hell. From huge population to dangerous pollution everything had made the world hell.
Now God wants the Mother Earth back from our Human race. Now it’s the high time to get alert. We have to respect and care for the whole world and nature created by God. We have to give equal space and respect to the animals also. They also have same right like us.
We are trying to do the basic things for the animals in our Duggu’s Shelter. We give love and respect to the furry babies. We call them by individual names not by token number. We are not doing any commercial activities in our Shelter home. We work with very less number of dogs. We give them individual identity with names. Due to limitations of fund we are not able to do more for the stray dogs. It is very painful when you see lots of hungry souls and you are not able to feed them.
Right now, we are having 14 Dogs as our inmates of Duggu’s Shelter Home. They are nurtured with immense care and love. They are properly vaccinated. They are trained with basic discipline. We maintain separate medical file with vaccination card for the babies. We provide one-time meal to the dogs staying outside the shelter home and nearby localities. They are well acquainted with the natural environment. We take care of their medication issues and yearly vaccinations. They are approximately 30- 32 dogs.
Our Shelter is running since 2018. We are now running in the area of 1800 sq.ft. Now we planning to shift to a place of minimum 5400 Sq.ft. that we will try to purchase. If we purchase the land then it will cost around 1.70 crores.
So, with a goal to purchase the land we are going to describe our plan with its detailed expenses and costing. Our motto is to serve more suffering animals. Now we are going to explain here the plan of the shelter home. We will explain the plan in the following steps: -
