In Noida, India, there are hundreds of stray dogs on the streets that are malnourished and in need of food and medical care. One local animal welfare advocate, Sella, provides food and medical care to over 450 stray dogs with limited resources. Sella is working to start an animal rescue named SellatotheRescue, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, for now gov't offices are closed and assistance is limited. Funds are needed so Sella can continue to provide food and medical care to the dogs in need in Noida
How the funds will be used.
We have over 450 dogs under our supervision. We need bowls and clothing for all dogs as it's monsoon. We need to build shelter homes and provide them with food in their respective places. We will be buying lighted collars so that it is easier for commuters to identify them on the roads.
Expenses for listed above:
Collars: Rs 150 per collar
Food: Rs 4000 per day for all dogs
Shelter: Rs 120000 shelter homes for all identified dogs.
Total expenses for the whole year will be 3.5 lacs. I have been trying from my own salary for all these years but now it is becoming a pain because of the lockdown and my loss. Request everyone of you to help me help the dogs.
