This fundraiser is aimed at helping Sneha Srikanth's father. Her father, aged 56, underwent a by-pass surgery in the last week of December 2020 at private Hospital, Chennai. He had to undergo a second surgery due to an unexpected clot near his brain. Sneha Srikanth is an undergraduate student in the Mechanical Engineering Department at IIT Madras. A hard-working and sincere student, she is amongst the top students of her class, and a Young Research Fellow. She is trying her best to arrange finances for her father's operations. The family has ran out of their savings, and the faculty & students of IIT Madras helped them with the hospital bills.
Unfortunately, despite the treatment, he still has not been able to recover from the stroke. He is still in a highly critical state and requires medical attention for an undefined period of time.
Since the doctors cannot predict a timeline of his recovery, we do not know what the costs will mount up to. Based on the interim medical bills, around Rs. 10 lakhs must move forward with the treatment. The family has exhausted all their savings on the long-running treatment.
We request you all to donate any amount possible.
