Transgender men and women often face discrimination, bigotry and hatred from their families, friends and coworkers. These harsh reactions usually stem from fear and a basic misunderstanding of the transgender community. By being an ally and showing your support of transgender people, you are doing your part to help end ignorance surrounding transgender issues. 

In India, transgender are usually considered as sex workers and usually they are forced to do that due to no employment or lack of education. Sreeja a transgender converted at the age of 14, as she had not completed her education and no support from the family, to feed herself she started as sex worker, but she was longing for better life, she did her beautician course and started working in a beauty parlour also she adopted a child and he (karthick) lives with her, with the meagre amount she earns. 

She takes care of the shelter, food and she is particular about the education for her son (Karthick) Currently, she is in financial crunch, as her landlord wants to lease the house, Sreeja not able to find a better house / she doesn’t want to give a bad environment for her son which will affect his studies, she is expecting your help to pay for the lease which is about INR 3,00000 (3 Lakhs only)
