About us-
Sponsor A Child Foundation works for upliftment of underprivileged children and poverty alleviation. We seek support from our donors both in cash and kind. For in kind donations, we ensure that goods received are fresh keeping in mind the dignity of beneficiaries. We have a pool of volunteers who help us in reaching beneficiaries. We ensure that help always reach the most deserving beneficiaries through our well defined criteria and survey.
Why this fundraiser-
COVID pandemic has affected the poor people very badly who are dependent upon their daily earnings. Because of lock down they have lost the work and require support for even food and daily needs. We will be reaching out to support those beneficiaries with the funds raised and preference will be given to homeless beneficiaries and daily earners who have lost their earnings.
How will be the donations utilized-
Donations received will be utilized to support 1000 families with a dry grocery support of 15 days @ INR 1000 per family initially. We will be supporting the families in slums and resettlement colonies of Northwest Delhi.
The grocery kit will consist of following items-1. Rice- 5kg
2. Atta-10 kg
3. Cooking oil- 1 ltr
4. Pulses- 2 kg
5. Spices- 1/2 kg (2 types)
6. Salt- 1kg
7. Sugar- 1kg
8. Tea- 250 gram
9. Masks
10. Vegetables
