In addition to the regular training and rehabilitation, SRC has extended the support of Masks, Sanitizers, Medicine, Health Care, Dry Ration, Vegetables, Cooked Food, and other needs as majority of them are affected emotionally, economically, and socially due to the present pandemic and could withstand to some extent with the hope for better services and supports on regular basis with better connectivity.

Utilization of Funds Raised

1) 30 new Children added to hostel facility
Last month we have 30 new orphan children who are Differently abled, Hearing Impaired, physically handicapped added to our Hostel facility. This was beyond our yearly budget capabilities, so we came forward to raise funds through this platform for the children.
The funds will be utilized for the following causes.
  1. 2 Special Educator and 4 supporting staff to be newly hired for the increased Hostel strength.
  2. Clothing expenses, beds, books, basic needs for all the 30 children.
  3. Medical tests, Medicine distribution for the entire year as most of them are with permanent health conditions.
  4. Nutritious Food for the Hostel facility for the entire year.
  5. Need for Physiotherapist and Speech therapist.
2) Food Distribution to Senior Citizens
We plan to increase our reach of free Food distribution for the needy old aged people to 30+ villages and target to provide daily food to 150+ senior citizens. We have identified many such vulnerable Senior  citizens through our survey and we are planning to increase our kitchen capacity to cook for 300+ people daily. Currently we cook food daily for around 150 people(90+ Special children, 50+ senior citizens, 10 Supporting staff).

3)Early intervention Program
We would like to start new project called Early Intervention Program by targeting high risk new borns and pregnant mothers to identify the disabilities at an early stage and to help them minimise the risk as they grow up.

4) New Vehicle procurement
We are in need of new vehicle to carry our daily Mass Food distribution program and also we want to increase our Day care School strength by covering more villages.
