With approximately 14,000 tonnes solid waste being generated by Delhi alone in a single day, waste management has become very crucial. It is important to have proper waste management systems in place at RWA (Resident Welfare Association) level to be self sufficient and curb the problem from its roots.
With this objective, We (Abhishek, Prashasti, Spandana) students of IIM Lucknow - Noida Campus are working in collaboration with many stakeholders and are helping various RWAs in South Delhi to achieve 90% waste segregation at source.
As part of our work, we have identified the need to build compost pits in various locations. In order to take it up further, we have started this crowd funding campaign to raise funds. We request each one of you to be part of this initiative to manage wet waste responsibly. Please do contribute and be part of the drive. Think Clean. Think Green.
