*Chowk Bazar - Let us restore the heritage of our Tezpur*
Unfortunate was our town 'cause where stood dreams yesterday are ashes today. But from those ashes of burnt hopes, we shall rise together as a phoenix.

The incident occurred on May 9, 2021, at around 12:20 AM and went totally out of normal control from 12:45 AM.

Around 600+ families directly or indirectly were affected by the fire that gutted down Chowk Bazaar Tezpur. Our town needs us and in a collaborative effort, we, a group of youth of Tezpur, have come forward to rebuild the shattered hopes and dreams of the victims.

Drops of water make an ocean and every little effort- however little it be, shall help us provide support to the bereaving families. It's a humble request from us to whoever wants to help us in this motive, for sending in your valuable contributions.

Donations will be used to provide ration and essentials to the affected families. We believe together we can rebuild their hopes and restore their faith in humanity. They are our people, they need us!!

The controlled situation at 7 Amit is a sigh of relief that no human casualties have been reported so far, This is the time for all to team up and save ourselves from the tough times. Our heart goes out to Tezpur and all the families who are directly or indirectly affected by this devastation. Stay strong. We shall overcome! Please help us regain.
