'Hasi' is a non profit organization run by us to serve people in water lodged remote villages who lost everything due to Cyclone AMPHAN which caused to destroy their homes and their entire villages are water-logged and is drowning. All they have is a plastic under which they are sleeping. They don't even have the electricity and there is no chance of getting back power for the next 6 months.

West Bengal government can't help much as they are waiting for the water level to come back and they can start the restoration work. But right now as it stands, these people have nowhere to go and nobody to help. There are approximately 2000 families in the nearby two villages of North Sundarbans. The area is heavily affected and they don't have food or light. We want to give them light as each dark night feels like 1 year to them.

They came with an idea of providing solar lamps along with essential food items.
Each solar lamp costs around Rs 450/- which will be given to one family.

Initial target - 1500 families.
Initial Amount needed - Rs. 6,75,000/-
