CatSanctuary Goa is a privately run shelter and rescue for cats in North Goa. It provides a shelter for at-risk feral or abandoned cats - currently housing 50 permanent inmates - and carries out vaccination and spaying programs for feral cat colonies in areas like Aldonha, Mapusa and their surroundings. the Sanctuary is headquartered in a beautiful 80-year old bungalow with extensive grounds. However, the structure comes with its own maintenance needs. Mainly, the Mangalore tile roof, which has several leaks and weak spots needs to be completely inspected and overhauled before the monsoons.

A thorough fix of the roof will keep the cats of the Sanctuary and their human caretakers home and dry for at least another 4 years. We've attached some inside and outside photos highlighting tiles, beams and gutters that need attention. 


While we cannot currently offer you an 80G exemption for your donations, we will be posting updates with photos of all the repairs and receipts for all the payments made.
